Working method
From planning letter to signed report
This is the path a typical annual statutory audit follows at Clouddatax. Interim reviews and control assessments use a shorter version of the same discipline.
Inquiry and capacity check
You send closing dates, entity structure, and prior auditor details. We confirm whether we can meet your report deadline before anyone drafts an engagement letter.
Engagement letter and independence
Scope, fees, deposits, and responsibilities are written down. Independence and confidentiality terms sit in the same document so there are no surprises later.
Planning and information requests
We set materiality, identify significant risks, and issue a staged request list. Your team knows what is needed for week one of fieldwork versus what can wait.
Fieldwork
Tests of balances, cut-off, confirmations, and inquiries happen on site or through secured exchange. Queries are raised while books can still move.
Review, adjustments, and reporting
Proposed adjustments and draft findings are discussed with your finance lead. The auditor’s report and management letter follow once outstanding items are cleared.
Close-out and next-year notes
We leave a short list of binders and controls worth improving before the next close — so recurring years cost less friction, not more ritual.
What you prepare
Trial balance, draft statements, bank reconciliations, inventory count results, major contracts, and a named contact for daily questions. First-year clients should also arrange predecessor access where possible.
What we bring
A planned team, sampling approach, confirmation logistics, and senior review before anything is signed. Travel within southern Taiwan is scheduled around your operations, not our convenience alone.
